The Process:
My design journey began with trend analysis, identifying key elements like organic textures, bold geometrics, and trending colors. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I developed prints through digital techniques, including generative AI features to explore abstract and intricate designs. I then applied the finalized prints to swimsuit silhouettes designed in CLO3D, which allowed for precise visualization of fit, drape, and pattern alignment.
The Ask:
The assignment focused on creating surface designs for swimwear, incorporating current trends and trend forecasting into innovative, market-ready concepts. The goal was to develop cohesive prints and patterns that aligned with trending textures, colors, and silhouettes, ultimately showcasing the designs using CLO3D.
