The Prompt:

The 2024 Fashion Scholarship Fund case study challenged participants to create a marketing strategy for a fashion brand, emphasizing sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals. The prompt required aligning campaigns with the brand’s values, avoiding greenwashing, and proposing actionable steps to address environmental objectives.

The Process:

For my project, I chose to focus on American Girl, a brand that resonates with young audiences. My goal was to instill the importance of ESG principles early in life, shaping a generation that values sustainability and social responsibility. This approach felt more impactful than working with retailers targeting older audiences, who often already hold established views on these topics. It was rewarding to craft a strategy aimed at empowering the next generation through thoughtful and educational practices.

The Outcome:

World Girl by American Girl
